27 November: Great documentary on Uilleann-Pipe and one of its best player, the Breton Patrick Molard, mainly set on the isle of Skye,
by director Gerard Alle, ‘L’Or des MacCrimmon’ is shown to the public, in presence of Gerard and Patrick at Plouhinec: a great moment of
pleasure and emotion !
October 2021 :
29 October : Pierre Delignière tells stories on whisky, from the making to smugglers, and the astonishing forced abstinence in Caithness
imposed by women on the veterans after WW I. However, after the conference, the public shared the veterans’ grief, with a wee dram !
September 2021 :
11 September : New members (including Scots living in the area!) apply to Bretagne-Ecosse, at the gathering of local associations.
24 September : Yves Pucher gives a talk on his misadventures as a cyclist, along a journey from north Brittany, across the whole of England and part of Scotland, up to the Isle of Lewis, and eventually
to Inverness. Congratulation Yves! Who also tells the story in a book !
